Drying time may vary from one property to another depending on several factors such as source of water, types of building materials, weather conditions, and how quickly restoration services are initiated. For us to achieve the best results, we will closely monitor the dry out process. This may include moving, adding, or removing equipment and checking humidity and temperature readings to ensure your property is returned to its pre-loss condition quickly. The complete drying process generally takes 3 to 5 days.
No, we really need to keep the equipment running continuously during the drying process. By turning off the equipment it will prolong the dry out process and may increase the chance of mold growth.

We will begin by securing your property to prevent vandalism or robbery, which is actually common in fire damage scenarios, and protecting it from the elements such as covering the roof with tarps, etc. We will then begin the process of cleanup and repair, including cleaning and restoration of your personal belongings and furniture that are able to be saved, extraction of water and clean-up of all debris from the property. The next phase will be the rebuilding process where the structure will be repaired and odor removal and structural cleaning will be performed. When PCC Cleaning & Restoration completes the project, your property will be like it never had been in a fire!
An initial assessment of your personal items will be made and a complete inventory will be taken. We will do our best to restore your contents to a pre-loss condition. If we are not able to restore any items we will set them aside to be itemized and turned in to your insurance adjuster. No contents are disposed of without your written consent as well as approval from your insurance adjuster. Items which are deemed salvageable, once inventoried, are carefully packed, moved off site and stored in our secured facility. These contents are then processed in our warehouse and stored until your repairs are completed. Once the repairs are completed, the processed contents are moved back to your home or business. A detailed inventory will be provided.
If the damage was extensive you will probably have to move out temporarily. Fortunately, your standard homeowner’s policy should cover the costs of relocation during cleanup.
